Speciality

Tracy Northampton

This guided forest therapy walk offers a gentle invitation to slow down, restore, and
reconnect with the natural world. Led by Tracy Northampton, a qualified Forest
Therapy Guide and UKCP/BACP-Accredited Psychotherapist and Supervisor with
nearly four decades of clinical experience, the walk weaves together
psychotherapeutic understanding, poetry, and trauma-informed invitations within the
living landscape of the Castle Ashby Estate.
Participants are guided through a series of simple, sensory-based practices that
support embodied presence, deep listening, and attunement to the rhythms of
nature. The experience creates a safe, reflective space for individuals and groups to
notice what is present, to share when words feel appropriate, and to honour silence
when they do not. Within this space, the forest itself is welcomed as a co-facilitator—
offering support through presence, relationship, and attentive awareness.
The walk unfolds at a gentle pace, allowing participants to meet themselves and the
living world in their own time. It offers a calm, respectful setting in which something
essential can settle, be remembered, and quietly restored.
